Mas Ventura

Mas Ventura is a luxurious four-bedroom, four-bath property that will be of interest to discriminating guests who want a combination of luxury, fabulous sea view, privacy and easy access to Cannes. With its main house and separate guest quarters, 4.5m X 10.5m (15' X 35') pool and quiet, private location, the villa is an ideal choice for families who want to enjoy an extended holiday on the Côte d'Azur. It also offers outstanding accommodations for visitors attending one of the many international conventions (including the Cannes Film Festival) that take place throughout the year. It is only a short drive to La Croisette, the boulevard of flower gardens and palm trees that parallels the Mediterranean and the beaches of Cannes on one side, and on the other is lined by the shops and boutiques and luxury hotels for which this cosmopolitan city is famous.

Entirely renovated, Mas Ventura has been furnished in a style that blends contemporary and Provençal motifs to produce a sunny environment of relaxed informality. From its elevated position on the quiet boulevard Alexander Lacour in the prestigious La Californie section of Cannes, the villa enjoys gorgeous sea views over Pointe de la Croisette toward the Iles de Lérins and the Mediterranean. The beaches of Cannes, Juan-les-Pins and Golfe-Juan are nearby, as are an abundance of restaurants offering some of the finest seafood on the Côte d'Azur. Nice Airport is a 30-minute drive by Autoroute or coast road. Yet with all the exciting activity at one's fingertips, there is no sound of traffic or urban commotion to disturb the tranquility of Mas Ventura.

MAIN HOUSE

Lower level

  • Foyer with powder room.
  • Living room with off-white stone floors, two sofas, and two armchairs, fireplace, beamed ceilings, television with cable reception (including CNN), stereo system with CD player, panoramic view over Bay of Cannes.
  • Dining room with table for 12, wide windows with sea view.
  • Fully equipped kitchen with four-burner halogen stove, electric wall oven, dishwasher, two-door American-style refrigerator, stainless steel sink and custom-made wood cabinets.
  • The living and dining rooms and kitchen open onto the main terrace, which faces south toward the Mediterranean.
Upper level
  • Master bedroom with king-sized bed, hardwood floors, television (French channels only), three French doors opening onto a private terrace that connects with the pool area, full ensuite bath with WC, tub and hand-held shower.
  • Bedroom with hardwood floors, queen-sized bed, ensuite bath with WC and shower (no tub.)
  • Bedroom with hardwood floors, twin beds, fireplace, ensuite bath with WC and shower (no tub.)
  • Laundry room with washing machine and separate dryer.
GUEST HOUSE
  • Bedroom with queen-sized bed, television (French channels only.)
  • Bedroom-sitting room with two single sofabeds and kitchenette.
  • Bathroom with WC, tub and hand-held shower, accessed from hallway.
  • All bedrooms are oriented south and thus have long-range views toward the Mediterranean. All rooms receive plentiful natural light and are well ventilated. Both the main and guest house have modern security systems.
While the mas is beautifully appointed for comfortable living in any season, its grounds and exterior spaces are designed to help guests take full advantage of the sun and balmy temperatures for which the Côte d'Azur is famous.

For relaxing outside, in the sun or under a white canvas parasol, there is a long, wide flagstone terrace with wicker armchairs and a teak table for up to ten guests. A second terrace, perfect for lunch in bathing suits, overlooks the pool. The extensive gardens are landscaped in a provincial style, with plantings of citrus trees, palm trees, shrubs and flowers interlaced with gravel paths that can be illuminated at night. Stone walls and tall hedges ensure privacy.

Mas Ventura is in a private compound shielded from the view of other properties in this exclusive residential neighborhood. Two garages can accommodate up to five cars.

This superb villa is available for rental year-round. Special rates pertain to the international conventions that take place during the non-summer months.
